If you don’t use it, you lose it.
Your English is great — but it doesn’t always feel easy.
You’ve worked too hard to let your English go rusty now — you just need somewhere to keep it alive.
- You want to talk about real topics, using the kind of British English people actually speak — not the stiff textbook stuff.
- You want to be challenged to improve your speaking skills – but you also want to enjoy using the English you already have.
- You are not studying for an exam so don’t want to be restricted to certain dry topics and you’re happy if the conversation naturally wanders.
Is this you?
You’re a professional
You’re great at business English but dread chatting with colleagues. You’d love to feel more immersed in British culture but there are so many references and words you don’t understand. You want to have the confidence out of the office that you have in it.
You’re an English teacher
You want to stay a step ahead and make sure your skills don’t slip. It’s really important that you’re teaching your own students modern day British English and culture. And maybe this isn’t your goal right now… but you understand that speaking excellent modern British English will give you the edge over your competitors so you remain an in-demand teacher.
You’re looking to move to the UK or maybe you already live here
You want to make sure the English you are using is the English Brits actually use (we NEVER say “it’s raining cats and dogs” but we DO have this infuriating way of not saying what we really mean).
You’re curious
You love to learn new things and discuss topics with people with differing viewpoints.
But most of all…
You want intelligent conversation in a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

Welcome. You’ll love it here.
Here’s what past students have said…
